Folk songs has always been a source of musical ideas for composers throughout history, who turned these songs into self-standing instrumental pieces. Couperin at the Center of Next Season פרנסואה קופראן - במרכז העונה הבאה
העונה השלישית בסדרת אנטיק, שתחל בספטמבר 2008 ותסתיים ביוני 2009, מביאה עמה חדשות טובות לשוחרי המוזיקה העתיקה. במרכז העונה הבאה המוזיקה הקאמרית של פרנסואה קופראן (אחד המלחינים האהובים עלינו). אנסמבל אנטיק יבצע במהלך עונת 2008-2009 את מכלול הסונאטות של פרנסואה קופראן, שישתרע על פני שש תכניות שונות ובהן גם מוזיקה מאת מלחינים אחרים. בעונה הבאה נגיש גם קונצרטים ליטורגיים ונשתף פעולה עם אמנים מחו"ל.
החל מספטמבר 2008 אנו עוברים לנגן את הקונצרטים הקאמריים שלנו במרכז פליציה בלומנטל (אשר נמצא בככר ביאליק בתל אביב). כמו כן ננגן בעונה הבאה בחיפה כחלק מפעילות החוג למוזיקה קאמרית, ובעוד מספר סדרות קאמריות ברחבי הארץ.

The third season of the Antique concert series, beginning in September 2008 and ending in June 2009, brings good news for early music lovers. At the center of our next season is the chamber music of François Couperin (one of our favorite composers). The Antique ensemble will perform during the 2008-2009 season the entire body of sonatas by François Couperin, spanning six different programs that will also include music by other composers. Next season we will present liturgical concerts as well, and host guest artists from abroad.
Beginning in September 2008 we will perform all our chamber concerts at the Felicja Blumental music center (in Tel Aviv). We will also perform in Haifa as part of the activities of the Haifa chamber music association, and in a few other chamber music series across the country.
